We create a lot of portraits. I was a friend of both Malak and Yousuf Karsh and their work was part of what inspired me to enter the profession. In fact, an original Karsh print hangs right behind my desk.
It’s not unusual for an organization to have me continue their Karsh wall and I always have a proud moment when I am asked to do so. In this case, Jeff Turnbull had just been elected as head of the Canadian Medical Association. Jeff is an amazing man and I hope I did both he and Karsh justice.
