It doesn`t get much better than a LinkedIN review….from LinkedIN.

We shot the Kathleen Battle concert in Ottawa for Julian Armour…what an amazing talent this woman has…and I am no opera fan. Funniest thing is
that this was my first opera. What a way to start!
The New Year is a time to ramp up your image. Here are some folks who got great usage from our recent work…
One of the reasons I enjoy the business is the fascinating people I meet. I enjoy being the one chosen to highlight their successes. Oh and by the way, congrats to Bernard Grandmaitre on recently being named to the Order of Canada. What an amazing career!
Congrats to Janice McDonald of Ottawa on her latest achievement…being named to the Top 100.
Here`s the bit from the Post….

We shot these at Ottawa`s Chateau Laurier hotel for Wedding Dreams….what a fun concept. Thanks to all our models, stylists, makeup, hairstylists assistants and to the Chateau Laurier. After probably more than 100 weddings at the Chateau it was fun to just play with a cool concept by Diana.
We shot this fashion editorial featuring Malabar outfits for Bella Magazine…My digital assistant Trevor and I played around with the images a bit…just a subtle hint of romance.
So far I have shot a half dozen medieval weddings…always fun to see someone doing up a theme. My fave was at the Chateau (where else) about five years ago and I still remember the details that Wedecor put into the reception…Another was at Mackenzie King`s Estate…fun times.
Shooting fashion is one of the trickier assignments in photography. Lighting, expression, layout all have to be just right to make the shot a success.
Digital photography is something we have been doing for 15 years. We went from a full on darkroom to a bank of computers, pioneering some of the techniques ourselves. Understanding the technology and the process is not an easy task. Some clients now have an urge to make their own albums, prints and upload files to Facebook. What most do not realize is that straight out of the camera…. no matter how good the photographer captures an image…there is always room for improvement, or what we call post processing. This shot is an extreme example for effect, but most photographs can be improved with Photoshop. If the photographers talents are not up to par…then massive quantities of time are necessary. Perhaps this is something to consider on the front end when making your comparisons.
Buying a set of images that are on a memory stick the day after the wedding is generally not a bargain at all…
Here`s our Fall Fashion spread in Ottawa Life Magazine, shot on location at the Museum of Nature. Loved the place when I was a kid…almost became a dino hunter.
Ok, I confess. It doesn`t get much better than shooting a PR gig for Budwieser on a sunny day in Ottawa.
