Love comes in many forms…not all of it two legged.
Portraits in the studio are boring and traditional…at least thats what people who don’t have studios seem to say on their websites…lol.
Yes, we have fun on location too, but its nice to have the option in case of bad weather and frankly we can shoot in the studio for a much better price than on location.
I keep seeing the shots from my assignment with Waste Management a few months back…boy, they are everywhere from the web, to mags to community papers. Nice to see my images with great layouts and good reproduction. Now you know who shot all these…

What makes an executive portrait work…well, a lot of planning, a cooperative subject, good lighting and…a bit of talent with people.
Modelling and acting portfolios need to be clean, professional and show the person who is trying to sell themselves. I see a lot of portfolios sent to me for gigs we are shooting and most of them would be tossed aside by a real ad agency.
Note to modelling hopefuls…no one cares whether you can slap a ton of makeup on and shoot a portfolio at a funky location. Casting agents want to see YOU…not a photo contest winning shot.
Just when you thought you had seen it all…my latest dog portrait. Perhaps this born again thing the Hindus speak of may not be such a bad thing…. I am going to try to come back as this guys brother.
